Wow! What a great start we have had so far. 2015 will be an
awesome year, with so many exciting things to share and lovely people to get to
know.
A bit about me...
My name is Nicole Rose and I have been teaching for 12
years. I have experience across every level of primary school, in classrooms,
teaching IT and relieving teachers for CRT. I have been at Oteha Valley School
since the middle of 2011 but have had some time off recently with my family. My
husband and I live on the Hibiscus Coast with our 3 children Ava, Isaak and
Eden.
Communication..
My door is always open for a quick chat in the mornings
before school from 8.30am. After school we have meetings beginning immediately
after school finishes on Tuesday and Wednesday. If you need a more in depth
chat please email me and we can make a suitable time to get together. Notices
will always be sent home in book bags and our school newsletter is emailed to
you at home.
Uniform..
It is great to see everyone looking amazing in their full
school uniform so quickly into the year. I will be so proud to take Room 6 on
outings outside of the school when you all look so smart. Remember to always wear
your black shoes, with no extra colours or patterns on them.
Please remember:
· *School is open from 8.15am. Children will not be
supervised before this time so for their safety it is best to arrive after this
time.
· *Hats at school every day in Terms 1 and 4
· *Library day is Thursday
· *Book bags and reading logs to school every day.
· *Each child has a day assigned to them for news
sharing. Please discourage your child from bringing in lots of precious items
and things can be easily lost and damaged. The purpose of news is to build our
oral language skills and develop the Who, What Where, When, Why and How of
events.
