Our focus this term
We have started the year looking at who we are and getting
to know our similarities and differences. We have been discussing bullying, and
strategies for making and keeping friends in the playground as part of our Kia
Kaha program. Next we will begin to explore our class community a little more
and move on to our digital community that we are a part of. This learning will
enable us to set up our own class blog later in the term, which will be a great
vehicle for us to share our learning with the global community.
We have been exploring being unique in depth over the last few weeks. Every child in our room should know with confidence what being unique is and how each of them is unique.
